Well, as most of you know, this month (and September) did not go anywhere near how it should have gone. The sites being up and down along with my daughter being ill with Swine flu (and my husband and myself) kind of had serious ramifications for work. :/ Basically, it comes down to being behind to a point that I have to stop doing the comics I simply want to do to concentrate on other things. Mainly the backlog of wallpapers and books that must be put together for the others that were supposed to be worked on in the last two months. I hope to start this comic back up again in 2010, but I know I’m just going to struggle along with barely an update a month. Until then, sign up for the RSS. I have way too many pages of scripts for each of these stories to let them sit…

I’m making sure this is plastered everywhere so I don’t get the usual questions of what’s going on … even though it’s on the pages repeatedly.
No updates this week – due to the following that occurred over the weekend. This week’s comic was done, but I’d rather have a chapter image up for two weeks than the next page up and an immediate pause for a week. Either one is bad … there will be an update on Wednesday next week.
I was a bit caught up in the whole, What is wrong with my computer, it won’t turn on! panic. A lot of time was spent on that, getting HP to connect my account to my replacement plan (I had a two year one just in case of such a situation.) I got the tablet sent off yesterday afternoon and it’ll be in their hands tomorrow, which means on Monday they SHOULD start working on it and sometime during the following week it should come back to me … and with luck.. three Mondays from now I’ll have my tablet back.. with luck.
Now, the big issue is that the software I ink on is ON the tablet. It came with it so I can’t install it on my desktop. I have, btw, gone through trying to ink in Photoshop – slooow, unnatural, Flash – smooth, but clunky and Manga Studio EX 3 – not sensitive enough to ink properly, which is apparently a common problem. (I use Painter Essentials to ink… not even an expensive program, can get it for $40, but I intend to get the full Painter 11 at some point and nowhere around here has it for that.) Sooo, I opted to upgrade to Manga Studio EX 4 – which has improved to the ‘right’ feel for inking. Sadly, their order form is annoying. I wanted a physical copy AND a digital download so I could get it and use it immediately. I ordered the physical upgrade and EXPECTED that there would be a link to a digital copy, because anytime I’ve ordered software from anywhere else, you go in and order and you get that option.
Apparently I had a 50/50 chance of getting it right. 9.9 I chose the wrong selection and have had a lovely runaround from their so called ’support’ which ended in: Most people who order a physical copy don’t want a digital copy.
I am not pleased.
I hope they ship it in time for my next round of inking. I tried to ink pages by hand, but I do not have the proper supplies after inking on the computer for so long. It’s going to show in next week’s Alien Dice.
Shivae! Cler #2 is now available for preorder! It’s 44 pages in SIZE. I expect to get the books in by September 1st. Depending on where you get them, they will cost: $10 signed in the store, $5.25 through Indyplanet (That’ll be a few more days from this post) and … for FREE from Wowio if you just want a digital version.
Today and Tomorrow’s updates will be the last of this chapter’s updates for Vas. Shivae! Cler will then begin updating. Please note that Cler has been moved to a new url. People were over complicating things with how they were organized before since one was done before the other, but the later one being in reality first in the time line.
I’m going to try to get a wallpaper up on Thursday here, then move on to Cler!, which already has half a dozen pages pencilled, inked and ready to color… kicking off with three wallpapers if I can pull it off.
I will be using the time I’m updating Cler over to write scripts for Vas. VAS, btw… has two character inclusions left, one for Daemonschile and one for Flowerlark. 
Vas will be ending before Cler will… primarily because Cler is about to split into three different stories: Cler, Zaya and then Caiden and Koel. They most likely won’t be long and I may do them in black and white, like I intend to do a story also featuring Vas and Taun while back on the farm.
Technically… Cler’s story ended already once Dior was ‘defeated’, to be continued when she’s older. So I am already in Caiden and Koel. 
Updates for Shivae! – Vas will resume on Tuesday, July 1st. There are four updates left and one wallpaper, then I will begin updating Shivae! Cler.
I’m almost done with the print versions of both up to current. I still have a few small things to do and then I’ll be uploading things to Wowio as soon as it’s back up. I’m likely to start updating the same content from the print books to Wowio starting with the new books.
